Reclosers are epoxy circuit breakers, which are intended to interrupt power-lines in case of short curcuit currents and reclose the lines afterwards. Therefore, lines with minor problems remain on the grid, power outages are reduced and expensive on-site assessments by the maintenance are eliminated.
