As part of WKO on Tour, Chamber of Commerce Styria Vice President Herbert Ritter visited companies in the Graz area.<\/h2>\n

“Performance must be worthwhile”<\/strong>\u00a0is the motto for which\u00a0Styrian Chamber of Commerce Vice President Herbert Ritter<\/strong>\u00a0and regional office chairman\u00a0Michael Kohl<\/strong>\u00a0are fighting – and with full force. “We must do everything in our power to\u00a0raise<\/strong>\u00a0the groundwater\u00a0level of motivation<\/strong>\u00a0and personal\u00a0responsibility<\/strong>\u00a0in our country,” stressed Ritter, who visited several companies in the Graz area and also stopped at the\u00a0GIPRO factory<\/strong>\u00a0in Peggau.<\/p>\n

Julian Englich<\/strong>\u00a0welcomed the delegation, which was completed by\u00a0Mayor Viertler<\/strong>\u00a0from the municipality of Deutschfeistritz, to the insulator factory. After a few words of welcome from WK Vice President Ritter, the delegation was led through the\u00a0insulator production<\/strong>. From the\u00a0cast resin preparation<\/strong>, the tour continued to the\u00a0production halls<\/strong>, where the\u00a0various casting systems<\/strong>\u00a0were explained. The new Fox production line, which is used to\u00a0manufacture insulating plugs<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a0medium-voltage cable connectors<\/strong>\u00a0with a high degree of automation, was very well received. The\u00a0insulators<\/strong>\u00a0are later used primarily in\u00a0wind turbines<\/strong>\u00a0and thus make a contribution to the\u00a0green transformation<\/strong>. The interested listeners also found the vacuum casting system for particularly large or complex\u00a0cast resin insulators<\/strong>\u00a0exciting.<\/p>\n

Finally, the numerous\u00a0testing systems<\/strong>\u00a0with which GIPRO can ensure the\u00a0high quality of the insulators<\/strong>\u00a0were demonstrated. Among other things, the electrical test hall was inspected from the inside, where\u00a0tests<\/strong>\u00a0can be carried out with\u00a0electrical voltages of up to 200 kV<\/strong>. The two\u00a0X-ray systems<\/strong>, which can make even small irregularities within the products visible and thus enable\u00a0100% quality control<\/strong>, were also interesting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
