GIPRO produces rolling stock insulators for rail vehicles as well as for railway applications within local transport networks, including tramways and metros. Our customers include the biggest names in pantograph manufacturing, as well as a considerable number of train operating companies.
In addition to standard products such as support insulators or third rail insulators, GIPRO can also manufacture isolators for the roof garden either adapted to meet customer requirements or developed entirely new in partnership with the customer.
The cycloaliphatic outdoor cast-resin is certified acc. EN 45545 and NF F 16-101 and 16-102 standards. For some types we also offer fire & smoke certifications acc. to ASTM D635, E662 standards.
25kV pantograph support insulators
These proven outdoor isolators are characterized by their durability and mechanical strength. Height 302 to 320 mm, creepage distance 840 to 920 mm acc. EN 50163 und EN 50124. Working for OEBB, Bombardier, Alstom, Schunk, Faiveley Transport for decades.
isoFLEX 25kV Railcar insulators
The insulators of the isoFLEX family can currently be supplied as standard in heights from 320 to 360 mm. Thanks to the exchangeable base plate, any roof-side fastening variant is possible. It impresses with its creepage distance of over 1100 mm. Fire & smoke certified according to EN 45545, NF F 16-101 and NF F 16-102 standards. Cycloaliphatic epoxy resin. Weight: approx. 9 – 12 kg
25kV isoFLEX: new panto insulator
The 25kV isoFLEX is the new flexible panto insulator, roof-line support insulator or busbar insulator for electric locomotives. It is available in heights from 280 to 400 mm acc. EN 50163 und EN 50124 and can be easily mounted to every given platform on the roof. The isoFLEX impresses with its creepage distance of more than 1100 mm. Outdoor cycloaliphatic cast-resin certified acc. EN 45545, NF F 16-101, NF F 16-102.
6kV panto insulators

3kV pantograph support insulator

Strong pantograph support insulator up to 3kV
This epoxy insulator with a height of 80 mm has strong mechanical properties and could be used for tramway pantograph, trolley busses or other electrical insulation up to 3kV. Cycloaliphatic insulator certified acc. EN 45545-1, NF F 16-101, NF F 16-102. Weight: appr. 1.4 kg

Outdoor support insulator for third-rail current-collectors of a French company. Made from HCEP – Hydrophobic cycloaliphatic epoxy resin that fulfills the fire & smoke requirements acc. EN 45545-2.
Cast-resin bushing brake resistor
Custom-made bushing with coated copper bolt for special application of Heine Resistors in railway technology.
